Been messing around with the banjo lately. I did the 2 mono banjo tracks simultaneously & used some thumbjam. The vocal was ps02 through pod into the DP008.

1 phaser banjo
1 clean banjo
1 drums (stereo)
1 bass (TJ) stereo
1 pedal steel (stereo)
1 vocal (stereo)

Didn't seem quite right leaving you the way I left tonight
And I guess then I just don't know where this is supposed to go

I feel uneasy and I feel unsure
My stomachs tied all up in knots
I think I swallowed the Lure

Didn't seem quite right
as I look back in hindsight
I guess I just don't see any alternative for me

Chorus

Shiny pretty things
I'm easily distracted
Now the Hook is buried deep
Can you help me extract it

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

This really affected me. You have once again created your own genre. Pedal steel is brilliant. The phased uke sounds like a Kalimba or a ring modulator.

What a F%cking song man, it got me, that ending just kills me, how it speeds up and swaggers off into slight chaos swing territory.  I've never heard a song like this.  Psychedelic folk.  Mind blown by your style and inventiveness.  There is something really cool about the chord progression in the verse, something so satisfying..........that I need to hear it again.....going back in..............

I like the banjos (that phaser is cool)  And I like the melody. You've got a pretty unique vocal flavor here that seems to compliment the banjo pretty darn well.
