I thought I start a new thread on those insignificant little things that we discover than put a little smile on our faces.

Remember this is the "just for laughs" board, so no heavy stuff ... ;D

i recently discovered,  that Ivor Cutler used to have a display of ivory cutlery on his hall entrance table. not only did this little visual pun put a smile on my face, it also inspired a song.

i also discovered about him, that when people in the audience took photos of him. he would stop performing and look sternly at the offending snapper and say quite sternly in a posh Scottish voice "Don't! Ever! do that again!" before resuming his performance. if you know mr cutler's voice/work you can picture him saying that quite readily.

As George Carlin said, why is there no blue food? I mean natural foods, not the artificially-coloured crap. Like George says, blueberries are purple. There are plenty of foods in every colour you can think of except blue. Weird.
