       I only got into Beefheart in the mid nineties, when somebody who is now dead gave me a copy of 'The Spotlight Kid'. Within a couple of months I'd just about got the entire catalogue.
        When I'm on the Captain's ship, I tend to stay a while. Nothing else will do. As some may have guessed, I'm on the ship at the moment.
