Agree with Flash.
It's almost discordant in parts, but brill. A fine upload. Well done.  8)

I really dig this. Very otherworldly feel to the chords (sounds like a uke?) in combination with those ethereal vocals...it's got a mystical/psych vibe to it. Nicely done!

a hugely engaging track - it has its own style. Really like the way that the vocals are in layers, and don't come in all at once. Love it.

I thank each and every one of you for your kind replies! They really assure me that what my girlfriend and I are creating is worthwhile!
I am 42 years old and she is 36. We both reside in Wheeling, West Virginia.
For those who care about the particulars,
We recorded this using a Tascam 004 handheld Portastudio.
The previous commenter had good ears, it was indeed a ukulele; a baritone tuned to DADA.
The song's in the key of Bminor9th with an added F# note chorded on the uke.
I had recorded and written the lyrics some three weeks previous, and recorded it at too low a volume (shocked that no one criticized that obvious white noise hiss!)
My singing is sub-par, so my girlfriend took over the voices.
She just recently bought a Helicon VoiceTouch Live 2, and we played around with it for a couple days before laying those vocals down. Its an AMAZEBALLS composition tool/instrument and I highly recommend one, even though they're pricey; it helped create what you heard.
I was pretty gobsmacked at the beauty my girlfriend is capable of with harmony and a little production.
We posted this track to our Facebooks with less response than we expected, so its really really gratifying that you all are in positive accord on the recording in this forum.
Thank you all.
I hope I answered all your questions.

This is really something different, I love the contrast between the soft and beautiful vocals and the discordant/edgy guitar breakes.
