No... I haven't spelt elbows wrong  :D

I've seen a few mentions of ebows on here. I've heard of them, but that's about it. What are they? What do they do? Should I get one????

Gonna have a look on e-Bay anyway, but some real user feedback would be great  :)

Funny that Tim, I was looking to see if they had any in the shops in Denmark Street when I was down to see you.

I fancy one.  Mott the Hoople used them quite a bit, and I think that Bill Nelson was a fan.

I use one for atmospheric stuff.  If you crank up the reverb a tad, you get a nice sustained feedbacky sort of sound.  Works best with lower gain seetings IMO.

Question: I wonder of there is there any kind of feedback or residual sound if they get close to pickups; active or passive.

those gadgets have been around forever
how much do they go for now? they used to be about 90 bucks
wouldnt mind having one either
