I will have to look into ulead video studio.

i only used that cos it came with my pc, i think tim uses windows own video maker but i think all apps are the same. most posts on you tube done on camera use the cameras sound as the dont have the luxury of having a br to hand. my other vids, i mime to the song then import the mp3 into the video as described previously

It's how the pro's do it. THey record sound and vision separately but both with a synchronised SMTPE track so that they can stick them back together again afterwards.

I don't know if anyone has tried Adobe Premiere. I use it and it's brilliant. Just like an old editing suite without the thousands of pounds worth of video kit behind it.
