Here's a link to a neat blues lesson I found on Youtube.  Must see the end where he cuts loose.  I liked it so much I jammed out a short backing track to practice off of.

Still getting the hang of the BB King style licks but fun to jam to none-the less.  ;D

 8) Man that is really great playing there hardlock, I can hear traces of Mike Bloomfield in your playing.  This is superb.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks much!  ;D

There's this one lick I learned somewhere where you stretch one string to match the octave of the other.  Think Bloomfield used it if not mistaken.  It's painful to do however (at least for me)  :P

To learn to play the blues is one thing~~but to learn to play like B.B. could be life long process within itself...It's always great to find new ideas and learn little things from other players...that's how you expand your own pallet~~Awesome post Hardlock!!

Great Blues Playing 8) I'm on a similar journey and I'm still finding it difficult swapping from Minor to Major Blues scales and making it sound right......

Guitar-Maniac

yea, we've all been there :P pain in the arse swapping from
minor to major.

For you blues player, try playing the blues scale and the
Mixolydian mode together, you'll get some pretty interesting sounds.
i prefer using this instead of the regular major.

but it all comes down to personal choice tho! hehe
