This looks like a pretty nice audio conversion program. It's free and open source.

I haven't tried it myself because it's only available for Windows and I'm a Linux user. But it sounds impressive in the review above. It handles all of the major audio formats and looks pretty easy to use.




It even has a built-in tag editor so you can give yourself credit for your song and include the full title and other details.




And you can normalize the level of your file. Would be great for converting the finished WAV file from your BR to MP3 format for posting here at Songcrafters.

It's tempting, but after taking the time to set up Foobar2000 again, I'm kind of attached.... it must be the musical equivalent to the Stockholm Syndrome.

You can do the built-in tag editor and MP3 conversion in Audacity . . .

In Audacity I could take a recording of band practice or a show and split up the track into separate mp3s and have a tag set for them. I really miss that single function.
