BR800 patches

Do they have some of the same patches as the micro br? took a look at the br800 on youtube - four tracks recording at the same time! might have save up for one of these

The patches are pretty similar from what I've seen.  You need to ask Geir, he has both machines.

The BR-800 has 34 insert effects versus the Micro BR's 11. So, naturally, the effects patches are going to be different in most cases. However, there are four patches with the same name - "Jazzy", "VO Drive", "ComboDrv", and "SmoothLd". I assume they'd sound similar but not necessarily identical since the BR-800 has a different effects engine.

Here's a comparison of the effects available in all of the BRs, including the Micro BR and BR-800.

Although the BR-800's preset patches are mostly different than the Micro BR's, you should be able to create your own versions of most of the Micro BR's patches on the BR-800 since it has most of the effects that are available in the Micro BR.

Here is a list of the Micro BR's preset patch settings. Just dial up the same settings for each parameter in the BR-800 and save it as a User or Song patch.
