I actually had a banjo and took some lessons. Just couldn't get the speed up. I could strum the tenor ok.  But I had a fiddle to and hubby didn't like all the screeching I did with it. Especially when I screeched hard enough to pop the bridge out.   SO I gave up on them. will leave these things to the golden fingered people. :D
