A treat for Clash fans

I'm personally not too worried about their backgrounds etc... I just couldn't stand the noise they made, what they looked like, and what they seemed to be trying to sell... :D

In hindsight I really appreciate what they achieved, etc, etc.

But... I still can't stand the noise... (although, given a choice between The Clash and Guns and Roses, I would put up with listening to The Clash if I had too...)

Now, that MUST make me a bad person!! Or at least, the baddest one here... :D

i loved londons calling but was not really fired up by the clash, for me bands like the adverts, the damned, 999, the buzzcocks and the sex pistols really knocked me off my feet. they where life changing bands. the clash where a bit more pub rock than punk imho.

that said there was a show on bbc2 called something else which was fabulous and i recall the clash doing a roaring version of tommy gun.

i am with andy on guns n roses. yeuk. will see if i can find that tommy gun clip.
