"I Was There" a Hook BassFest original

[Hook]

Nissan Sentra Studios  has started it's engine once again! Yesterday I made this drumtrack with drumjam (iphone app) rather quickly. I then used thumbjams Bowed Bass and improvised the track in one take. I switched to the Plucked bass (also TJ) and improvised that track in one take. I then added the 3rd & final bass track the Stingray Bass (TJ) and called it a session (about an hour). This morning I used the Memos in my Iphone to dictate the lyrics rather stream of conscious like, had them finished by the end of my hour commute. This afternoon I added the lead vocals & mixed it down in a parking lot near my 2nd job. Funny...my first BassFest entry & I never picked up a bass! All done with my Iphone into the mbr in the car...

The clever way in which you have mixed up the bass parts give it a real eerie sound, and there is a real mysterious vibe going on here.

Cool hook! This is a very haunting piece with all the bass and vocal parts fitting together well. It could also double as a spooky Halloween song with October quickly approaching.
