Come What May
Andy Casson
29th June 2013
They say that life is a lonely road
Fast or slow on it goes
Where it may take me I don't know
It twists and turns but on it goes

Come what may I will take one step at a time
Come what may I will walk this road

They say that life is a ship at sea
Crossing oceans on the breeze
Day by day on it leads
Crossing oceans on the breeze

I say that life is the seeds we sow
What we nurture what we grow
Put down roots, hearth and home
What we nurture what we grow

WOW! The arrangement is great. I love the lead guitar at the end.

Yes, the buildup is fabulous! I wish I had the patience to make a tune grow like this, not too much but just enough. Agree with Jarle, the lead tops it!

I'm very impressed with this song. While the writing and performance are both stellar, the arrangement is great, too. I seriously enjoyed listening to this.

Nice song Andy - well constructed and with the big build up. Very cool. Nice instrumentation - I liked that distant guitar coming in and the big solo at the end :-)

A word I don't use much, but this has an epic quality to it.  Your lyrics seem heartfelt without it veering into Hallmark country.  A nice listen.  Brilliant to let the drums lay out leading up to the corker of a solo.

I was hooked from the very first chord sequence. It's one I'd like to have come up with myself! Love the intimate vocal and how everything slowly builds with a classy, uncrowded dignity. All the instruments are perfectly placed in the mix, and I was waiting for that gorgeous guitar solo. Epic songs like this need one! You need a video with you playing that part on a cliff top somewhere!

What a great track.

Wow what a song Andy. Epic is the word. Not soppy at all to me. It puts me in a place of reminiscing.

It sounds like a great tune for a movie soundtrack for sure. Always love your stuff man!
