If any of you UK guys have Sky or some other digital / freeview TV set-up, keep an eye out for Sky Arts channels 1 and 2. I stumbled across it up in the lifestyle channels a couple of weeks ago. Since then, I've watched something on it most nights on Sky Arts 1. Such as...

- Thin Lizzy 'Live and Dangerous' from 1977
- Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon live
- Cream's Albert Hall Reunion concert
- Great documentary on 'Free'
- Loads of Jimi Hendrix stuff

They also run a 'songbook' show that has an hour interview with some great songwriters. This week's was Albert Hammond sitting there chatting and playing live - really interesting stuff. I had no idea how many classic songs he's written.

Sky Arts 2 is all ballet / opera / classical if you're that way inclined!

Anyway, just to let you know....

Thanks Tim, I'll try to find it. Have you got the channel numbers?
I always say, if I can leave somebody happy and smiling at the end of the day-----I've completely f*cked up!!

It seems you need Sky, Virgin or Tiscali...

Coming up on 'songbook'....

Donovan
Ian Broudie
Bernard Sumner

Donovan is a major hero of mine - so can't wait!

You lucky SOBs. We aren't afforded this kind of awesome on our side of the pond. >:( We do have plenty of programs that do not show the following material, though:  :P

I was hoping we had another "shed-citing" :P

I'd be taking advantage if I could!
