While at the shop picking up a little amp also went and finally purchased a camping guitar.
A Seagull Coastline Folk. http://seagullguitars.com/seagull_coastline_folk.html
Something I set out to do last year and never actually managed it.

Nice guitar, Peter! I've never played a Seagull but I know they have a great reputation. And they're made by Godin, so I'm sure that reputation is well-deserved. I love my Godin xtSA.

Figures, I picked up this one because it is laminate sides and back with a solid cedar top to hopefully hold up better while out camping during the summer months.

Well doesn't Godin (makers of Seagull guitars) promptly pop out a new line called Excursion series
Laminate top, sides and back of wild cherry, supposedly "Rugged, bare bones & packed full of tone!" just for people to take to not so very instrument friendly places.

Still trying to find out the retail street price, but too new no one has them yet.
