I did this after a lesson with my teacher who's a master of jazz, rock and anything else with strings on. I'm trying to get out of that pentatonic trap and get into modes instead. I came up with this weird harmony, which is a bit different for me.

Damn, you're good. No matter what the genre / style, you just make it sound like you've been playing it forever  :D

cool and interesting, this could be developed into something bigger and grander.

Teacher???   I thought you were the teacher.  Great stuff.

You always display excellent playing man!  Yeah, modes are the way to go.  Kind of puts the whole fretboard at your fingertips... literally.  I heard a guitar teacher once say "you pay for the whole guitar, you might well use the whole fretboard, or you'll be ripping yourself off" It was funnier when he said it, but you know.... Keep up the good work man!
