Hi I'm sure I've seen various members of songwriters post mentioning links to the music on other sites?
I want to put together an album of new songs for people to hear where would be good place to post?

and I know some of the members here use http://alonetone.com/

For an album release I like bandcamp the best. Especially if your metadata is complete. You upload it in your best quality and it will automatically reformat for mp3 or whatnot. You get something like 200 free downloads a month for free (which is lots more than I'll ever need.)

I know some members here have used alonetone, but if I remember correctly it was harder to download an entire album at once. I think I ended up downloading a song at a time at least at one point.

If you just want a place to share an album worth of songs then I recommend soundcloud. You can post your songs into groups with a title and keep them organized that way. The best thing about it is that the widget they provide will work in a post on facebook for streaming and sharing.
