Yes, happy birthday, Bjork.  Same age as me.  Except ten months younger.   I saw her in KUKL in 1984 at a Crass records miner's strike benefit in Penarth.  Would've been 18 then. Wearing a black catsuit with ears and whiskers.  Her, not me.  And a tail.  She was stood next to me in the crowd before she went and sang.  Flux of Pink Indians were the headline (anyone remember Tube Disasters?).

Sugarcubes played in Melbourne at the Metro Nightclub in 1988.

Awesome

Jesus and Mary Chain and Voice of the Beehive came out the same year and played at the same venue.

It was a cool time

ah i got to kiss liz fraser backstage at a very early cocteau twins gig. at "night Moves" in glasgow.was about 1982 i think to promote their first album. i think they where support to blancmange  ;D ;D or maybe modern english.
