It's definitely vaguely "operatic/musical" - I was on a big Freddie Mercury binge when I wrote it.

And that breathing - ha! ha!

I tend to like leaving it in anyway recently (I've been corresponding with a bunch of wimin who seem to think it's "interesting") but the breathing on this one was to enable me to make the entries vaguely accurate on the bass part!!

There was NO WAY I was cutting the breath at the start when I heard it

And didn't David Coverdale used to over-dub heavy breathing on Whitesnake albums?

It's important stuff Jim - to edit out, or to enhance, the breathing??!!

If Henny had put a big breath at the start of Our Bedroom Floor... probably his missus would have liked it a whole lot more... it's these little attentions to artistic detail that make all the difference (even what colour y-fronts you're wearing when you play the different parts... it all has an effect on the finished product)
