Bruno, I think your mic placement technique is a good one. With a single mic the goal is to place it so you get the full range (or as close as you can) of the acoustic guitar. How you do it doesn't matter as long as you capture the sound as you have here with the tube condenser mic, which is very warm yet bright.  Good playing also!

I say for the home recordist the simpler the better...less room for mistakes that way plus we are usually recording in less than perfect rooms. In a pro environment there might be 3 mics set up....a small condenser pointed at the 12th to 14th fret, a large condenser pulled back some favoring the body, and a distant mic across the room. But I think you've got it all with the one mic set up. Great work!
