And USB 3.0. I can't believe they released the BR-800 with only USB 1.1. At least the BR-80 has USB 2.0.

And while we're at it, I hope they include midi in their next BR. I need it to sync to my keyboard's sequencer. I'd also like to be able to sync my BR-864 to the new recorder via midi for additional playback tracks. Not that I expect to need them, but if the capability were there I'd probably use it.

It's only a factor when transferring files directly between the BR and a computer or using software that accesses the BR's files directly. What you can do instead is simply remove the memory card from the BR and insert it into a USB 3.0 card reader. To your computer, it looks exactly like the BR and all software designed for the BR should work. But you have the advantage of much faster file transfers. I do this all the time with my BR-864. It's very easy, though it would be nice to have USB 3.0 built-in to the BR.
