Well... I didn't say it's not The Yardbirds. :)  But you haven't given the song title.

Here are a few new ones. They should be easy (I think).

Please remember:

Only one guess at a time and wait till at least two other people have posted guesses before you submit another.

1) 64G-015 - "Peaches" by The Stranglers - identified by Johnny Robbo
2) 64G-016 -
3) 64G-017 - "That'll Be The Day" by Buddy Holly and The Crickets - identified by Groundy (title only)
4) 64G-018 - "Peace Train" by Cat Stevens - identified by T.C. Elliott
5) 64G-019 -
6) 64G-020 - "Part of the Union" - Strawbs - identified by Johnny Robbo

And nobody ever guessed these two, so I'll give some clues and see if anyone can figure them out.

64G-008:
By a 70s prog-rock band from London. This snippet is from the tail-end of the song. The song is the title track from an album that was released in 1975 and was also released as the B side of a single in 1977.

64G-014:
By a very popular British band from the 60s. I always thought this was a pretty famous single, but I just looked it up on Wikipedia and they say it flopped badly in the UK. It peaked at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #36 on the Toronto CHUM Chart in May 1967. The guitarist left this band to form one of the most successful rock bands of the 70s.
