I am by no means a great lyricist, but i have improved alot recently and ONE little thing really did it for me.

Alot of songs go I.... I..... I.... I....

my biggest tip is to instead go.... You... You... You... I...

As in you are talking about yourself when you say 'you'....

I'm gonna change this rotten theme"

^rubbish lines but hope it helps if you get stuck... :)
