Started with the bass track, 1st time I've ever written a tune in that way. Another quirky, mix-meter tune.

1- distorted bass
2-rythm ukulele
1 -ditorted lead uke
4- vocal tracks
2- minty/shaker egg drum
1- ukussion
1- tambourine

Foam & Fizz
written & performed by Hook
Rogue Uke, Peavey bass,
Where am I
It's like I have gone back in time
Could this be an opportunity
To mend the tears in my reality

        Foam & Fizz
If it's too good to be true it probably is
        Fire & Ice
Gotta watch out for the ones that are real nice

Where do I stand
I climb ahead but I'm snapped back like a rubber band
I just want to make a small altering
& see the future that might bring

       Chorus

From where I sit
What I do doesn't seem to matter one little bit
No matter how hard I tried
It never ends until these tears are cried

      Chorus

wow, that's a really organic sound you've achieved there Hook! Wonderful stuff! Curious about the lyrics mind? Is there a story? Quite understand if there isn't - mine are usually more than a little random....

cool listen!

Cool groove, bro! I'm listening on PC speakers and the mix sounds good to me - Love the distorted guitar solo, nice touch. I suppose if you make a different mix I'll put the headphones on!

Thanks for listening guys!! It must have not synched correctly on my walkman earlier, I re-synched and it's what I thought I did so I most likely wont remix.

Launched- That solo is all uke brother, I so love the way effects work with the uke, especially distortions. That is the alto lead patch on the br900.

Andy- I was thinking about time travel, specifically H.G.Wells "The Time Machine", "Back to The Future" & a newer movie "Source Code" (not bad) and the song basically comes from that inner monologue/discussion . The verses kinda tackle the idea that you can't change fate even if given the opportunity & the chorus I guess, kind of playfully acknowledges how that sucks! Thanks for asking!

And really thanks for listening to my quirky little musings!
Rock on!

Wow bro, this one pushes the boundaries. Love the time/feel change from verse and chorus. The harmonies are stella. This track has an almost african feel - I was kinda hearing African drums with this for some reason, or perhaps I starting to loose it :)
There is a lot going on in this - I'm gonna have to give it another listen!
Hook-tastic!

Ah - now I see, 7/8 in the verse changing to 4/4 for the chorus - very clever hook-meister :)
