Saw these guys in 1980 or 81 open for Cheap Trick in New Haven, CT... they smoked.... and I thought they were a great band....and a guy named "Paul Chapman" on guitar...and he was pretty darned good after Michael Schenker left....

I like this.  I think I should do more guitar-based songs.

that is smoking kind of angry heavy....in a good way... and I agree with you Paul...I would love to hear more of your guitar...absolutely....you are really good with all of it...but in the end of it rock is guitars, bass, and drums... and vocals of course... yes...more guitar...more...more...more
what I thought was cool about this video was the bass drum having the video inside of it...that was cool and that smoking lead guitar...

Musicians at the top of their game - but which is the greatest - you decide. This track kills ....

I am always amazed on how good these guys are - they've been on my radar for quite a few years, and they are going from strength to strength - amazing.

IMO the best musicians on the scene, and all in one band!!!!

I had to bump this... You nailed it! I've been following them for a few years also. Just phenomenal musicians, who just keep getting better. Their new album is masterful, start to finish.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

when the singer starts to sing I would say he's probably the best.
but when the bass player starts I would say ah well no...he's the best...
and then when the drummer starts I'd say the best, maybe it's the drummer

Exactly my issue. I have been freaking out since Phoenix dropped on Spotify. I want to get it on vinyl. I don't think I've ever heard anything quite so complex and yet so instantly likeable. Its a mix of fusion, jazz, soul, gospel and rock. Un-friggin-believable. They are that good that its seamless. Jonah's vocals are a mix of Stevie and Michael J. And he hits some high notes that leaves people speechless. The drummer is fantastic - and I think defines the sound. The singer is a damn special keys player as well. But the bass player for me, well his grooves are off the chart. All these tracks are full blast in the car, and on a non-stop (dirty) loop.

Its been a long time since a band has done this to me .....
