Geir

Started hearing through some old cassettes, before throwing them away. Salvaged a couple of old recordings of my early band-efforts, but also found a cassette with "Folque". This was the opening track (you need to listen more than 20s :) ) :

This was always just an album track then it shuffled onto my iDevice the other day and I heard it in another light.  Monumental.

One of my favourite tracks from one of my favourite albums. From age 15 to the present day.

The phasered 'voice on the stairs disturbs me...' part is possibly my favourite ever Japan moment.

RIP Mick Karn :-(

Good call!

was watching a documentary about tony wilson's punk music show "so it goes" there where some really iconic debut performances on it, sex pistols, elvis costello, wreckless eric (featuring ian dury on drums), iggy pop to name a few. but this clip knocked me sideways.

i thought i had seen and heard every recording xtc had ever done, then i saw this. FMGWABP they where good.
