This is one by France Gall that I've always liked - since it was written by Serge Gainsbourg, I'm assuming he either was directly involved in the production of this video, or was otherwise a direct influence on the visuals.  ;)

nice one blooby , i only recently "got" lyle lovett dismissing him as country n western without even listening, bbc4 put on a concert with him , john hiatt and joe ely, it really turned my head. been listening to a lot of his stuff recently love pontiac and if i had a boat

Great story, Daniel - I had heard some of it, but not that this song destroyed their relationship!

I tend to sympathize with both parties on this - humiliating for her when she found out, but daring as hell in pushing the boundaries of what was allowed in pop music and on TV.
