Yesterday was a sad day for Joe Goldmark. Buy some of his music to help him cope.

Check out the bass players instrument - it's a bass on top strings and guitar on bottom strings. Is there a name for this? Has anyone seen one of these before. Very Cool!

I've just recorded a tune based on my memory of this - I thought I'd take a listen at the original by Ewan McCall - but found this instead.  - Watch the guy with the two fiddles at the beginning of the song.

Ps:  My tune actually sounds nothing like this - so much for memory?

I was expecting something really gimmicky (Look at my novel technique!), not something this moving and musical.

I was thinking about comedy songs and th ilk and decided to browse YouTube(where else?) and came across a few post Goon and pre Pythons stuff. Very "British Humour" that I hadn't heard since I was a kid?  Some of it is well done with lots of imagination going into the write and arrangement, so I thought I'd share with you this snippet by Bernard Cribbens.
