Cool video Dave...I have never seen that. Those are all Daniel Johnston's characters from his drawings and songs come to life! Thank you.

I am totally transfixed and betwixed by this damn song.  I am officially obsessed.  Daniel Johnston, who knew.  Thank you Sandy and Jim for the introduction to this incredible talent.  This is an amazing discovery for me gents.

"Daniel Johnston is one of the most underappreciated lyricists of our time, and as a performer, the emotion he emits on stage rivals that of legends like Bob Dylan and Neil Young. His illness has contributed to his music in a bizarre way, effectively making him a contemporary Syd Barrett. But unlike Barrett, Johnston has managed to save himself from personal demons. As a result, he continues to bring joy to his fans across the world. The music of Daniel Johnston is unlike anything else you're likely to hear, and his performances are just as indescribable."

I Just got news that my Uncle passed away last night. This is for him. He would love this. He always referred to himself as a "good ol' boy" and these were two of his favourites:

Always liked the production of this Charlie Sexton album.  Kind of Lanois-esque on the slower tunes.  Since he left Dylan's band, he's back with the Arc Angels.

I could see Greeny liking him.
