This is good, never heard of this guy till couple days ago... popped up on a classic rock article. A bit folky... maybe a bit like John Martyn?

Thank you. I'm going to delve into this a bit.

Been listening to the simple minds albums after seeing them live recently.
The guitarist charlie burchill really impressed me.
I hear he is Dave stewarts favourite guitarist.

This morning I was thinking about Robert Lighthouse – one of the most mesmerizing musicians I've ever seen. I wrote a blog post about him a long, long time ago. He's a Swedish guy who channels American blues and rock better than anyone I've ever seen.

This isn't a recent video, but I remember it was his playing "Spanish Castle Magic" that grabbed me by the balls and in a cramped DC bar. I don't think this video does it justice. But I think maybe I know something of what it was like to see Hendrix live.

Hey now, well this is kind of cool - a remix and new video (with a reel-to-reel theme) for 'Tomorrow Never Knows':

These guys are sometimes a bit overlooked in rock conversations, by me included. Quite progressive in places

I bought the original soundtrack by 10CC with my first wage from a Saturday job in the cooperative. A very innovative band probably didn't get the respect they deserve because they had hit singles.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in a long time.
