Don Charbonneau's "Train Stories" cd

Make a point of stopping in to see him at a shop he runs during the summer months in Wawa Ontario whenever we pass  through.

This year he was still there, but Wawa itself did not look so good, many of the shops were closed and up for sale.

Video is a song from his  "Nothern Highway" CD

From Finnish "forest folk"-genre.... Islaja - Pete P

Here's the lyrics translated to English:

Pete P, do you understand this: shout your sorrows into this jar and

break it to pieces. This jar hears you, it has an ear, but it wont

speak for it has no mouth.

Pete P, do you understand this: whisper your dreams into this jar

and treasure it, it may come true, maybe someone makes it true.

No no no, don't you put your hand into these jars, if you touch your dream

it

will break, if you grab your griefs they will double back to you,

they come back to you

forgot how good this is pure bliss, saw lambchop on same tour and it was like a religious experience, music that moved me both emotionally and physically, my best gig ever.
