Wrote and recorded this today in the front seat of my kia, "guerrilla style" . I got all set up and realized that I forgot my adapter for my headphones, so all I had to go on was levels. It took a few takes before I got through the whole tune and I wish I would have tuned before this take, but the mastering effect (orchestra) took the edge off the intonation pretty well.  I'm thinking I need a micro-br with as much as I'm recording in this fashion. 6 AA's drain pretty quick, in about 2 sessions, plus I can't master until I get home. My wish list keeps growing!
This is just 1 track recorded through the br900 built in mic with the effects turned off thenI added a bit of chorus and reverb.

I think of why more often now
I don't know why I can't stop thinking bout why
Who, what, how, where & when
Come up every now & again
But it's all about why

A little (tiny) kid just putting things together
               He asks why
A grandfather just starting to weather
               He asks why

With my open eyes so I can see
I look around at all...and wonder why
I wish that I didn't care at all
I wish that I could be content
With how the cards might fall

                    Chorus

The world it spins & turns
& sometimes it spontaneously begins to burn
Rains might come & rains might lead to floods
Push us till we've had enough

I think of why more often now
& I wonder why I can't stop thinking bout why

Come on! Today you wrote and recorded? I'm amazed. For me it takes ages to write a song, I can never find a decent amount of "relax" time to concentrate properly.

...and actually you have come up with a quite good song...

Yes, bro - I'm amazed as usual! Can't believe you did it all with no headphones. Well, yes I can, but it's still cool that you pulled through perfectly.

You're definitely one of those people that deserve all the instruments you have because you treat them with respect and play them all well!

Sweeeeeet!!
