No, the only requirement is that the song must be under two minutes in length. It doesn't even have to be a cover. Most of the songs already posted for the Under2Fest are originals. We've never had a festival yet where the songs had to be Top 40 hits, although that might be an idea for a future festival.

Songs for GurlFest must be covers, but not Under2Fest. That's the way our festivals have been for the past two years. One is always an Artist/Covers fest which must be covers, and the other is always a Theme/Genre fest which can be originals or covers that match the theme or genre.
