Under2Fest (banner image missing)

Here's another for Under2fest coming in at 1:34.
After discussing writing styles I felt like trying something I don't do often if ever. I sat down and improvised a little progression on the banjo with a phaser patch on the br900. Then I improvised 3 vocal tracks and had this done in about 35 min. Got pulled away so I mixed it this morning, I was a bit afraid I wouldn't like it but I'm pretty happy with it.

Could It Be
written & performed by Hook

Tyler Mountain banjo
Could it be
As simple as
It's all me
Could I believe?
That I was wrong                           I could believe
I never really                                   that I was wrong
Claimed to be right                        it's simple & clean
I'm happy with                                it makes perfect sense
 Ambiguity                                       how many times
I believe                                           have I been wrong
It's less about me

Why now
Where do you turn to
 if you don't believe
Why now do I                                Why now do I
Search for you                               seem to need
I need to find                                 more than I ever did
                                                         before

"Pretty happy" .... you are on a roll man, I really like what you have done here.  That banjo sounds wicked like this.  Your vocals are right on.  Great job for doing this so quick.

Another great song - how can you do them so quick ???
Love hearing the banjo sound you got, and very clever vocals.
You are on a roll - keep it up.

it doesn't sound like an improvisation. the vocals and the banjo sound very nice. the song brings some feelings, emotions to the listener, which is what matters the most imo.

I don't understand how I missed this either - Kudos for the bump!  Man, you nailed an awesome harmony spot at 1:02, loved that!

I dig it!!

Hey....!  This is great!

Really nice job.  All the tracks are well recorded.

A very original song with a simple arrangement.

Impressive!
