Time she slips on by
Past my eye
Where's time gone
Time, a passing chime
Through my mind
Where's time gone
Time, steals on by
A stolen tide
Where's time gone
Time, a bird in flight
The darkest night
Where's time gone

Don't you feel alone

Racing through these cities
Chasing what we know
Don't load your heart with pity
For a man whose life has flown

Oh well ........

Powerful tune! Amazing what you can do in an evening! Lots of great qualities to this one, and I love how it builds up with drums and electric. You held time in your hand for a minute there.

You wrote a fine one!

This song, and your vocal in particular, goes straight to my heart.  I can't say enough good things about this one Andy.  When the song kicks up a notch at around 3:13, whell, damn man, that got me real good.  I really like how your voice sounds here.  Any special tricks/tips for how you recorded this vocal?  i would love to hear it.  Any special beverages consumed?  Thats a real nice reverb applied to the vocal.  I LOVE this man.  How could you improve on this?

fellas you are very kind for a bit of a knock it and botch it, thank you!

BB - most of the main vocal was double tracked by cloning the track in Sonar, then I have discovered that if you time slip one of them just slightly it fills out nicely
I used the 'Arena' setting on the Sonar VX64 Vocal Strip - no compression, slight EQ saturation, the Presence up 3/4 and delayed. Don't think I touched any of these settiings at all. Hope that helps

I also drink bucket loads of coffee!! And A minor is just about the perfect pitch for my voice I think

cheers
Andy
