watch out for something on it  for the dronefest, i held one note and twiddled all the knobs and bells and was well impressed with what came out the other end.

Remember the old Susuki Omnichord?  It was pretty much a digital autoharp. One popped up for sale on Craigslist. I was close to pulling the trigger, but then I found the Polychord app. I haven't bought it yet, but I thought you folks may be interested. It is midi-capable, has some filter, and has an arpeggiator.

A couple of keyboard app recommendations :

Magellan analog modelling synth:

Galileo Organ Emulator :

Thor is already mentioned. Rather complex for a synth newbie like me, but has amazing sounds !

Nave is an alternative to Thor

The iGrand has fantastic piano sounds !!!

I use Alchemy (keyboard app) & DM1 (drum machine app) quite a bit & find them pretty useful.
I only use the free versions ... But then again I'm a cheapskate ;)

I use those two quite often with GB.  Much easier to use now inter-app audio works nicely.  I've got loads of others (mosty free) apps, but I hardly ever use any of them.

VirSyn has 50% off on some nice apps now, including an introductory offer 50% off on the new Tera Synth.

I got Addictive synth, Tera Synth + the vocoder app iVoxel ;D
