Moog has announced "The Minimoog Model D Expansion Pack" for Animoog.

http://www.moogmusic.com/news/moog-announces-minimoog-model-d-expansion-pack-animoog

It includes 69 Timbres extracted from a vintage Minimoog Model D analog synthesizer, and 213 presets.

It's available now as an In-App-Purchase in the Animoog store for $6.99. I wonder if the price will be lower for Black Friday (tomorrow).

Additionally, in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday all Moog iOS applications are available at reduced prices:

  • Animoog for iPhone - $1.99 (regular price $9.99)
  • Animoog for iPad - $4.99 (regular price $29.99)
  • Filtatron for iPad/iPhone - $.99 (regular price $7.99)

Lots of kewl apps!

However, I'm still looking for something to replace the eband function on my BR80. There are several like Amazing Slow Downer, Riffmaster and Anytune.

Any one have a favorite?
Unlike wives, you can never have too many Les Pauls.

Korg is offering special prices on some of their other apps too. For example, iKaossilator is half-price at $9.99 until February 3rd.

Hook

Regarding the Korg Gadget apps Madrab posted, will they work on an iPhone or better yet a laptop with windows 8?
That $28 price seems pretty good for all you get. Not sure I would use it much but I want it. I got the ikaossilator for$10  back in Dec. seems cool keep meaning to try and write something with it. I kinda hope it won't work on my phone cause I really have no extra $$ now & I might not be able to resist!
Thanks for the heads up on these apps!!!
Rock on!

It looks to me like the Korg Gadget app is for iPad only.

Have you looked at Caustic 3? It's available for iPhone and Android for $9.99, and there's a Windows version for free. I've been playing around with the Windows version and I think it's pretty cool.

http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/caustic

It includes 10 different synths:

  • Subsynth - Virtual analog subtractive synthesizer
  • PCMSynth - Multi-sample wave synthesizer
  • BassLine - 303-like monosynth
  • BeatBox - 8-channel sampling drum machine
  • PadSynth - Harmonic table pad synthesizer
  • 8BitSynth - 8bit equation solver synthesizer
  • Modular - Fully configurable and routable synthesizer
  • Organ - Hammond-like tonewheel organ with rotary speaker
  • Vocoder - 8-band harmonic vocoder
  • FMSynth - DX-style 3-operator fm synthesizer

There are a bunch of effects available too.

I think it will work with any iPhone but it's optimized for iPhone 5.

They've also produced some great tutorial videos for it, making it easy to learn:
