collaboration with a fast FTP?

What are you using to transfer large files between users for collaborations?
EG many wav files are too big to send by email.
YouSendit.com and SendThisFile.com have slowed down the free versions so they are almost unusable

How do you use googledocs for transferring files?
I have Gmail. and can open Googledocs but I dont see an option for music files

You can upload any type of documents also wav's, push the disc icon beside the CREATE button. Then you have to share the documents with the people you're gonna collab with. Click on the file after it is uploaded and from the "file" menu, select "share"

i use drop box quite a bit. I've thought about just getting my own website (actually should do that) and just loading it up with a link when necessary. might be over kill.
