This is a special moment for me. A milestone. This is the first new JK song completed since I joined the band and I'm really excited. These guys are the best and so fun to work with. The making is pretty much as  JK always has worked, Tim made the basic guitar&drum tracks, James added his vocals, then I added my guitar and Mike came up with a monster bass (you'll love this one!!) ..... this was the short story ... there actually was a lot of posts back and forth ... new mixes, missing vox .. added backing vox ..... and so on .... anyway ...

This is "Bring it on"
The sun is in the sky this morning
The clouds have parted for the now
I'm up and ready for the day ahead
Prepared for what may come my way
Bring it on
Bring it on
Bring it on
Come what may
Now I'm rested and I'm ready
Here at the top of my game
We're under starting orders
Fire the pistol start the race
Bring it on
Bring it on
Bring it on
Come what may
Ooooooooooo
Bring it on
Bring it on
Bring it on
Bring it on
Come what may
Bring it on
Bring it on
Bring it on
Come what may
Bring it on

I think it will be immediately apparent to everyone which guitar part is Geir's, lol.

Very, very happy with how this turned out and how the different parts took it somewhere totally different to the basic track. And is that the chunkiest bass-line of all time?!

OK, that bass line is a freaking monster. It's about time JK hired some lead guitar chops! You guys are really firing on all cylinders now. Great vocal Jim. Tim, you really know how to make it all come together, and you're the one who initiates it huh? Amazing. This is perfect.

Yes, yes, yes!!! Sounds a big indie hit to me... Another J's K classic! I'm on my third listening....better to download it immideately!!

Great job by you all!... and Geir; great guitar work besides Tim. Jim's voice works always perfect on Brit pop!

I supposed Mike played his brand new bass guitar. I heard a bit Bruce Foxton vibe on it (my fav bassist). Fine job, man!!!

Well worth the wait, I'd say!
Every bit as good as ever, but now with a new added flavor to it.
