Couldn't find anything about Elli guitars that wasn't on that site. From the looks of it, this usually means that they were not a major brand at anytime in their life. I'd be careful about paying more than a a couple hundred for one.

I do concur with Ron about Guitar Fetish though. They are quite good guitars for the the price.

EDIT:

Found some information actually. These "Elli" guitars are the Crucianelli Accordian company, that's why I wasn't finding anything. heh

Not much information above where and when they were made. I see that some are for sale on ebay. But their electric guitars appear more rare than their acoustic guitars. The lone electric is selling for just under $2k. There have been a few for sale recently around $1500, but they received no bids. It appears to me to not be very popular, hence the reason they aren't selling for the high asking prices. Value is only what people are willing to pay. Though sometimes that means only to certain collectors.

How much are they asking for?

Mmmmhhh...they were made in Castelfidardo (Ancona), the Italian land of luthiers, and Crucianelli was the "enemy" of the most popular Eko, they too from Castelfidardo.

Sincerely no idea about the quality of those guitars, I think anyway that few Italian guitarists TODAY would look for one of those guitars. Anyway I may ask someone else.

EDIT:

waiting for further news,:

one guy here in Italy is selling a Les Paul Crucianelli copy at 150 Euro, so probably this confirms the low quality of these guitars. Note also that the orange one you quote has tone and volume knobs from an old radio!!!  ??? :o
