songcrafters screen messed up with IE-7?

Not sure if just me but recently my screen is rather jumbled near the top where is says "latest songs", "on this day" and two other logos I can only see momentarly when switching between screens (folk-fest & sing-something?).  These get covered by main forum grid or other graphics.

Also in the lyrics box in posts, they start with a nice marble or other blue background then as you scroll down the lyrics, it quits to black making the rest of the words almost unreadable.

I know these have something to do with IE as when I use Google Chrome both are corrected.  Just a note to the programmers if full compatibility is important.

You're a version or 2 behind on IE, I recommend updating.

IE 9 is out... May as well jump on it while you're familiar with the process!

Any advantage?  I like lean & mean, not fat & bloated.

I wish I had an answer for that, but I only use IE when I have to test something. I'm a firefox guy.
