Top song! My bass-playing uncle's band achieved the heady heights of supporting them in the late 60's.

My favourite cover of the Burt Bacharach song "Baby It's You" (I like this even more than The Beatles' version). I love the dynamic vocals.

Smith featuring Gayle McCormick (1969)

"Breakfast at Tiffany's"

I bought this bands album on the strength of this pop gem. The rest of was utterly forgettable. As though it were a different band.

Jonathan King (1965)
King is the man who discovered Genesis, gave them their name (after they rejected "Gabriel's Angels"), and produced their first album "From Genesis to Revelation".

I didn't know that. Still, his only hit in North America was "Everyone's Gone to the Moon". None of the other songs you mentioned ever charted here, not even under the other names.
