I was accidentally reading through the manual that came with my Eden-David bass cab.
(Had the thing for months, did not even know they came with manuals till now)

When I came across this passage, that clearly indicates there be magic contained in them

THE MAGIC SMOKE
Few people realize just how much magic goes into creating Great Bass
Tone. It isn't something you normally need worry about. Just have fun and
leave all that to us. However – and this is very important – if you ever
release the Magic Smoke from your speaker, this is indeed a Very Bad
Thing, perhaps the worst thing you can do. If you see any smoke (Magic or
otherwise) coming out of your cabinet, immediately turn it off and seek the
services of a qualified magician...uhm, we mean...technician. DO NOT
continue to use the speaker system in this condition.

last time i saw magic smoke i forgot where my car keys were

We had magic smoke come out of our dishwasher recently.  I wasn't even trying to play bass through it.

Ah, you do realise that if you have a dishwasher that you have tried playing bass through, the warranty will be void?

I thought playing bass through the dishwasher was needed to help knock the stubborn bits off the dishes.
