One Hundred and Fourteen Years ago today was born Moses Harry Horwitz, aka Moe Howard of the Three Stooges: he of the sugar-bowl haircut, and undisputed master of the face slap, eye poke, thrown pie, and all things physical comedy - and brother of Curly & Shemp Howard.

Less-known was that he could also occasionally peel off a slice of over the top high-drama within comedy - acting!:
