Ah, the birthday was killer, guys - ZZ Top was fantastic at the waterfront concert! No cars, no distractions, just the boys on stage. Lots of glitter and the fuzzy guitars in the last tune, but for the most part a down to earth performance. I've seen them a few times but last night was my favorite! I had to suffer through the band that claimed to be Lynyrd Skynyrd but it was worth it. (They had a couple cool tunes, though!)

I still have the beer permission strap on my wrist....

Hopefully my friend can get the pics off her phone. We squirmed to the front and managed to get some good shots of the old men.
