Reg was out for a stroll in town and met Jed who was homeless sitting on the pavement with his hat out in front of him. Reg stopped to have a chat with him to see if he could help. Reg expected him to have a sad story but to his surprise he hadn't, he was quite happy with his life although  a little hungry and cold he'd had  enough of the 9 to 5  and was traveling from town to town experiencing life just living...........................you can never judge a book by it's cover can you?

Happy sitting here alone (Lyrics)

It's a damp start to a foggy day
the clouds hang low in the sky
theres a slight breeze blowing in the cold
As i sit on the pavement alone
As i sit on the pavement alone

The cold concrete seems to have numbed my soul
I write my thoughts in a book
The journey of my mind  all alone
I sit on the pavement alone
i sit here all alone

The journey in my mind is midway
I've music plays  out in my head
Bouncing rhythms from side to side
The thoughts are clear in my head
As i sit on the pavement alone

So far so good
At least i survive
although my youth is a distant dream
I love myself inside
As i sit on the pavement alone

legs blur  late for work
There minds pay me no mind
I sit here cold hungry too
Happy to be on my own
As i sit on the pavement alone

Don't be sad for me i'm happy with my thoughts
As i watch the world go by
I've got no need for that working world
I want to watch it all pass by
As i sit on the pavement alone

It's a damp start to a foggy day
The clouds hang low in the sky
Theres a slight breeze blowing in the cold
But i'm  happy to be alone
I'm happy to be sitting here alone

If Life is a dream then use your imagination

Nice one, glad to see Reg doesn't ignore escapees from the rat race. I think the slight distance on the vocal adds to the feeling of self enforced isolation. Like it..............Willie
