RIP Ted Lowe

Just heard about this watching the snooker on BBC.

He was the voice of much comfortable lying on the sofa and watching balls flying about the green baize (and I even used to watch it in black and white when I was a penniless student).

I love how they just had a "minute's applause" (instead of silence) for him before the start of the final.
