Too much to tell about how this song was born and i need sleep.

Short story! Mark(Launched) sent me an acoustic riff and i gelled the music into this song and Mark and I exchanged verses in  writing the lyrics. I put it on the shelf for months not liking my singing and adding lots of guitar tracks. I just redid the vox and had to get Tod (Rata-tat-tat) on board for the drums and glad i did cuz it made the song even better in my books.Mark`s Bassline kicks ass as always too!!

Enjoy!!

Never Enough

The weight of your world
is on my shoulders
As time passes on
You're getting bolder

You know how to take me
You know how to fake me

What i say is true
Whats good enough for me isn't good enough for you

You're ready to fight
Taking your time
To push me aside
And get what is mine

You know how to break me
But don`t know how to thank me

What i say is true
Whats good enough for me isn't good enough for you

I've been hanging onto your every word
And what you say has been absurd
My opinions means shit to you
You`re the center of yourself, that's nothing new
Pointing fingers for your own blame
The more you lie puts you to shame
Never call me your friend again
Cuz you've lost them all in the end
What you trying to prove?

The weight of your world
is on your shoulders
As time passes on
You're getting colder

You won`t ever take me
You won`t ever fake me again

What i say is true
Whats good enough for me isn't good enough for you

You know what I say..............there is never enough Gnasty and Launched.........I miss you guys when you don't post new music for months at a time.  Because, listen to this wonderment, you guys are too frigging good to not put up more music...............This is incredible guys, its like metal-prog for craps sake.  Rata, great drumming, thats a fantastic groove.  I could listen to this over and over just for the drusm alone.  Throw in a monster Launched bass line, then vocals par excellence from the boys, guitar solo is ripping my flesh off.................I can't take it.............Fantastic.  You guys rock.  New Songrcrafters supergroup.  Lets not wait 6 months for another installment in the Gnasty/Launched/Tod supergroup................what are you guys going to call yourselves.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

It seems it`s though it`s never enough for this song. I should of posted this morning with good ears. The guitar solo was too high in the mix so i brought it down and replaced in the player and Alonetone.

Thanks everyone..This one was a doozy to make!

Sweet Jesus, this has so much going on in it, and yet it all fits together like a fine watch!

Loved all the dynamics in the song - sublime vocals, amazing guitar work, driving bass, and those real live drums push the pace nicely. The bongos were a sweet touch - Gnasty, launched, and Rata-tat-tat, take a bow!

Back for another listen... man...

This is what they pay big bucks in the studio to make!

I have to echo BB's every word.... a new supergroup!

Eric, you have no need to worry about your vocals whatsoever, and the guitar playing as usual is everything I wish I could do.
Tod's drums are excellent and Mark's bass fits perfectly, it's a terrific job guys.

Eric, did you do all this on a MBR?     sheesh!

Melodic metal, very pro sounding...guitars are scorching! Rhythm section is tight and those vocals are killer. Love the dramatic ending!
