*UPDATE*  I recorded it properly with an acoustic guitar and louder vocals

This morning I talked to the girl I love
But I felt that she didn't want to talk to me
But that's ok, I had nothing more to say
There's no reason to cry, I'll just be lonely till the end of time.

Yesterday I ran into a friend of mine
But I felt that he wanted me to go away
That's ok, I was leaving anyway
There's no reason to cry, I'll just be lonely till the end of time.

I don't know the reason for this loneliness
Why do things have to be this way?
Will I ever find somebody to love me for who I am?
Well I'll be damned
If I can

Tomorrow I plan on calling my mother.
But she doesn't really answer my calls.
That's ok, I had nothing to say
There's no reason to cry, I'll just me lonely till the end of time.

Good ??? It's fantastic !!!

This is really good songwriting. Almost like a lost Beatles-tune !!

Unplugged electric guitar sounds very good and bright indeed! I'm on my second listening and you've written and performed very nice little song!

I really enjoyed this one Rich. Very nice tune, and I dig the vocals here.

Man, do I love this! Downloaded so I can play my banjo along with it.
I love the whole folky vibe, and I especially dig the cool chord changes on the "that's OK ..." lines that end the verses.
This is one I would want to cover.

Gritter

Excellent song, love the chord changes as well and the vocal performance is top notch. Sounds like you're in the kitchen playing here just for me.

Bluesberry

Very good song-writing.  Fantastic feel to this.  very good choice in the chord structure and melody.  Reminds me of the fantastic Canadian singer/songwriter Murray McLauchlan.....great stuff.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
