Had another practice session with the band over the weekend.

I had my accoustic pluged in the br. vox and drums recorded with the built in condenser mic. Lead guitar and bass were seperately tracked. did best I could with te levels due to time constraints....(wifes)

comments please.

It sounds just like a rehearsal room jam! I have never managed to make these sound like anything but. I think they are too small to do anything useful with as far as recording goes.

3/10 for recording.

10/10 for the track though. Great energy, great playing. Can't you do a full multitrack on it?

Cheers

I am going to eventually lay down all tracks seperately. I do like live drums in this though.

Thanks for the feedback.

I like live drums.
I just don't think you can do them justice with a single electret microphone. I think you need at least two condensers or good quality dynamics to get somewhere near.

I do like your music though and a 'studio' version of your track would be good to listen to.

nice work.   There is something about your vocals in this song that really grab me, reminds me a little of the vocals in the Corrosion of Conformity song Albatross
